On Christmas
Day, 2003 over 17 cakes and fruit platters were distributed
by four teams, amongst those who needed a little extra Christmas
cheer. It was the first time we had assisted, so Bruce came
along to show us the ropes. The four people we met on the day
were all happy to receive our good wishes and goodies. For full-details
see Lion Briony's article by clicking here.
We stayed
at our last visit for over 20 minutes, as the person was alone
and chair-bound. He gave us quite a few stories of Adelaide
in the old days and his adventures as a pursuit cyclist.
Terry Yuen
and his family then provided some refreshments at their home
for those who participated. Many thanks to Terry and to all
those who contributed. We got as much out of the day, as those
we visited!
